Why this one shows its error bars. A measurement of 12 questions per market is not very precise, so we show you the interval rather than a single confident number, and we refuse to report a change smaller than the measurement error. Our own research found that most tools in this category report month-to-month movement they cannot actually detect — the study, with the data.
